Kathy has lived in the Paradise/Chico area since 1991 with her husband Eric.  The Leppanen’s doubled their family in 2000 after the birth of their twins.  With the beauty of the pines and the short distance to Lake Oroville, Paradise is the perfect home for the Leppanen’s.  

Their most recent project is renovating their island style home.  Being with her family either out in the garden or working in the kid’s classroom is what Kathy charishes most.

Through the years of selling Real Estate, Kathy’s favorite part has been forming incredible relationships with clients.*

Kathy’s enthusiasm is not only seen when working with clients, but in the community as well.  As a founding member of the Women’s Council of Realtors, she is serving as their President in 2006.  The Council brings education and professional development opportunities to her fellow Realtors.**

Kathy’s longest volunteer involvement has been with Wings of Eagles, a local organization that helps families with seriously ill children.  She has said that her involvement as a Board Member keeps her humble and thankful because of the heroics of the families and the miracles that occasionally happen.**

Topping off her community involvement is her membership with Lions International.  She will serve as President of the Paradise  Business and Professionals Club in 2006-2007.  Lions main focus is helping the sight impaired but they have a variety of programs that support our local community including an annual Peace Poster contest local students compete in.**

Kathy’s character is reflected in the growth of her business.  91% of her Transactions in 2005 were referrals from previous clients, repeat clients, or other Realtors.
