We are wrapping up our twins first “summer vacation”! We managed to enjoy every moment while working more than full time (Yes, we’re still having a great year, even with a slower market. Thanks for all of your referrals!).

Our children started kindergarten last year and are getting ready for first grade to start next week. And while I am embarrassed that I haven’t written in my blog since May, those feelings are overshadowed by how proud I am of my children:

First of all, by the end of Kindergarten they were both reading and writing. (fof course, they are EXPECTED to learn reading and writing in Kindergarten now).

They inspired us to take a real vacation (our first since our honeymoon). We played in the ocean, rode a real roller coaster at Lego Land, and went to the Wild Animal Park.

They both learned to swim – really swim - and then they rode on one of those huge yellow inner-tubes behind our friends’ boat! Here they are at the end of the day with their wonderfully exuberant friend.

They are funny, kind, creative people - It is a Good Life!
